βOpportunity Rating
The Linity Rating system offers a detailed scoring of Testnet and Mainnet (Retro) Opportunities by looking into several key aspects of each project.
For NFT Opportunities, it uses a similar approach, evaluating different elements to give each NFT collection a thorough and overall rating.
Testnet and Mainnet (Retro) Rating
The Testnet and Retro Opportunities rating system is structured around three primary sections: Team, Community, and Funding (Money and Future Plans).
Team: This section focuses on evaluating the team's previous work experience, their involvement in similar projects, whether the team is anonymous or publicly known (doxxed), and other relevant aspects related to the team.
Community: We assess and grade various factors such as the project's social media channels, the level of engagement on these platforms, and the general sentiment or trend within the community about the project.
Funding (Money and Future Plans): This crucial section involves an assessment of venture capital (VC) backing, including the tier and amount of funding. Given that most Testnet or Retro projects are technically intensive or infrastructure-focused and require substantial funding for development, especially in their early stages, this metric is weighted heavily in our evaluation process. The grading system may vary slightly for different types of projects.
In addition to the core criteria, each opportunity is examined through additional filters that can influence the overall score. These include analysis of competition, the financial involvement required from users/participants, the availability of public tokenomics, confirmation of rewards from the team, and other variables, which may differ from one project to another.
Ultimately, all these parameters are considered to derive a comprehensive score for each opportunity.
NFT Rating
The NFT Opportunities rating system is structured into five key sections: Art, Collection/NFT Parameters, Team, Community, and Brand & Partnerships.
Art: This section evaluates the art of the collection based on factors such as originality versus imitation, whether it is human-made or AI-generated, its alignment with current trends or meta, and design aspects like being static, animated, or upgradable.
Collection/NFT Parameters: Here, we assess the total supply of the collection, the price per mint, the blockchain it will be launched on, and additional benefits such as token airdrops or exclusive rights or utilities, all in the context of recent trends and narratives.
Team: Evaluation in this section is based on the team's previous experience, reputation, whether they are anonymous or publicly known (doxxed), their activity on social media channels, and other relevant team-related aspects.
Community: Given that NFT collections are often community-driven, this metric is especially crucial. We consider factors like social media presence, the community's engagement level on these and other web3 platforms, the overall sentiment, involvement and engagement of key opinion leaders (KOLs), and collaborations with other communities.
Brand & Partnerships: This involves assessing the collection's partnerships with brands, involvement with KOLs, celebrities, influencers, and other elements that can enhance the collection's recognition among various communities.
In addition to these core areas, each opportunity is subject to several additional filters that can slightly influence the final score. These include the level of difficulty in securing a waitlist spot, funding, initial sell pressure at launch, market conditions, and more.
Based on the above points, each opportunity is assigned a comprehensive rating.
