Clicking on β€œSettings” under β€œβ€ gives you a way to add more options for logging in to Linity in addition to the method you used when you first created your account. It also gives you a way to choose whether or not you wish to keep getting newsletters from Linity.

Let’s have a very quick look at what the different buttons on the Settings page do.

Connected Accounts

  1. Connected accounts - This subpage shows you the accounts you have already connected to Linity. Initially you have only one account connected; the one you created your account with, but once your account is created, you are able to add other methods to login to your account. Connecting other login methods (connecting other accounts) can potentially give you access to other perks on Linity, so it is recommended, but not mandatory.

  2. Google Connection - In this case (in the image), the user created an account using Google. The β€œconnected” tag in front of Google shows that the user is currently connected to Linity via Google.

  3. Connect using Discord - Discord is filled with a lot of community activities, and it is where thousands of Linity users interact and get first hand information about Linity. If you have a Discord account, you can connect it to your Linity profile from here.

  4. Connect using X - Just like Discord, you can connect your X account.

  5. Connect using your Web3 wallet - You can also connect to Linity using your Web3 wallet, MetaMask at the moment. In the future we will be able to show you a quick analysis of your connected wallet. We will be able to even let you know what Web3 opportunities are available to you based on your wallet activities.

  6. Email Preferences - this is where you can see all the emails connected to your profile based on the accounts you have connected.

Keep in mind that connecting these accounts does not mean that you are creating multiple profiles, the accounts are all connected to one single profile that was created when you first signed up for your Linity account. You can easily disconnect these added accounts at anytime, if you wish.

Email Preferences

In this subpage, you are able to indicate if you do not wish to receive newsletters from Linity, you can also choose which of the emails belonging to your connected accounts that you wish to receive Linity newsletters on. You simply check or uncheck the options you are comfortable with.
